  1. That twilight "time passage" edit had me shouting "No! Not Twilight! That was for sure copied from Pride and Prejudice where Lizzy twirls on the swing. Keira Knightley superiority!"

Note: *I have issues and still want Benji to watch Pride and Prejudice 😂🫦🫣

  2. Literally they could have Forensics the shit out of the burnbook…do a writing sample of the ppl who could've possibly written the book (Or just use old TEST PAPERS or something) and compare it to the handwriting in the book! And as they said…she hadn't been there long enough to know the shit in the book.

Of course we wouldn't have a movie if they did that. But omg, this movie is such a classic. Hilarous!

  3. @34:09 In 2001 or 02, the biggest bully girl I our class actually whipped out the “some of us are just victims” in a Girls Mediation Meeting with the teacher. This movie is so insanely true to life, even if parts are somewhat exaggerated to come across on film. (My favorite line is probably “but you LOVE Ladysmith Black Mambazo!”, because I do)

  4. that's how sex education was in high school for me, (they even had pam stenzel come to talk to us! so fun( sarcastic)!) but it was even worse bc they didn't even talk about contraceptives- bc it was a catholic school🙃

  5. I saw this movie in the theaters after begging my mom to let me see it. I was younger than 10 years old and my older brother got the fun task of taking me to see it. I loved it, obviously but in certain parts, my brother was laughing and I was just confused. When we got home, my brother told my mom what the movie was like with a smile on his face. My mom then yelled at me and said I was "banned from seeing any other movies." So naturally, I'm a film student now.

  6. okay, story time. Background, first.
In college, my best friend and I were friends with our Astronomy professor and would arrive early to class to chat with him. My best friend's favorite color is pink. Like obsession level favorite color and our professor knew this. On one particular Wednesday, my best friend and I were both wearing pink and proceeded to tell our professor that "On Wednesdays, we wear pink." and explained what it meant and where the saying came from. Earlier this same week, I had got on tindr for the first time and started chatting with this guy and we found out that we were in the same Astronomy class. I wasn't super interested in this guy and was planning on lightly ghosting him. Fast forward to Wednesday. During the lecture, our professor mentioned that it was Wednesday and "as he had recently learned, 'On Wednesdays, we wear pink'" and proceeds to point out my best friend and I in the lecture hall. We sat in the same place every class (third row from the front, in the middle). After class that day, tindr guy messages me saying "Saw you in class today. We should sit together in class next time." Thus leading tindr guy to sit next to me for the entire rest of of the term.

  7. The line my parents liked best is 'she was supposed to be grounded but he let her out' bc every single time they will tell the story of how little me went to my friend's house when she was grounded and asked why i couldn't play at her house if she wasn't allowed to leave….literally just did not understand the concept of being grounded and her mum called my parents about it and they found it hilarious

  8. little story time: an english teacher played this movie for us to analyze right, but he had to change it in the end because in the same class there were 3 girls who would called THEM selves the blondies so you can guess everyone was making fun of them because of the movie.

  9. This movie came out in my 9th or 10th grade also Tina Fey wrote this in part on her HS Says at Upper Darby HS which was my high school, so she did a 20/20 or dateline interview right before the movie came out there an the sit down part was in the cafeteria during like 3rd block an I remember principal in the morning saying something like I expect you all to be on your best behavior…. Cut to all of us busting into the shot an running throw the set between Tina and the Woman interviewing her who was on edge ( maybe cus some of football players were talking shit to her ) or maybe cus we kept ruining the shot, but then I heard Tina saying this is just normal way of life in UD, but if 1 of them try’s to take your purse just give it to them it’s not worth your life 😂 I was like ok she’s really from here a obnoxious jerk just fucking with everyone 😂👏🏼👏🏼

That’s why I always have love an hometown pride for Tina Fey an love of mean girls besides how great the movie is 😁

  11. The simultaneous tangent they both go on describing how everyone is an idiot for believing that Cady wrote that burn book by herself was perfection and it should be nominated for an Academy Award.

  12. I work in mental health and in grad school, when were learning about diagnosing, one of our assignments was to pick a character and diagnose them based on the criteria from the DSM. We had to show how they met the specific diagnosis with clips. Someone picked Regina George and diagnosed her with histrionic personality disorder and I've never been able to look at her the same lol!! So every time you pointed about her behaviors, I just kept thinking yes…yes!!! Love that you both love this movie and also great edit!!

  14. 22:33 I think its because when were younger, we don't really have a grasp on who bad it really is. They know it's considered bad, but they probably wouldn't see it as any more than skanky or skeevy at worse. When we become adults rewatching this looks a whole lot worse. Hell, Principal Duvall looked like he was gonna beat his to death with that bat on sight.
