In 2016, I composed TERRACOTTA WARRIORS for the Albemarle County Middle School Honors Band (Charlottesville, VA). In 2017, it was published by Alfred Music and has been performed by numerous school and community bands. Part of the appeal of the music is the premise of the piece – that the famous Qin dynasty Terracotta Army of Qin Chi Huang (the first emperor of China) somehow comes to life and marches up out of their graves! Now, I attempt to bring that story vividly to life with video!
