Back in 2022, this Indie short horror SH-like game became famous for its art … and mainly for looking like Silent Hill… but its out of place combat, that is only a afterthought , making it feel padded (added only to stretch the length) , out of place , old third person fixed camera and many horrible angles… and its length of 3-4h-ish … not to mention jank puzzle logic … made many call it , a fine example how Indies should not be AAA … and the ending sucked hard
So, what the indie dev did … remade the whole game, from grounds up, with patches (hahaha) … you got problems with combat , K … how about turning it off , or make the ammo unlimited , or how about highlighting items or not , or Auto Aim… you got problems with fixed camera , how about Third Person behind your back Alan Wake camera… not to mention when you use it , the game maps are changed… remade as a totally new product with new graphical detail, aiming … story is fixed , ending has added a new VO … puzzles are now , well … still jank … and if you got problems with its length , its on you … depending what settings you pick , like in all SH games ( when in Sh3 on hard puzzle difficulty, you had to do math puzzles or music puzzles )
If you ask about the story , well … you start this game, in the middle and are clueless , slowly puzzling the story together … since your forced to listen to tapes, to progress the game story …about a gall, stuck in a town (build on movie pop icons) that was under the influence of some Cult , that heard a sound coming from the depths of the ocean … a sound of a God whale, that harvest Gloving Rocks, that can Manipulate time and space … your stuck in a time bubble , made by this whale , when his screams resonated the rocks and trapped you inside your house bubble … using those rocks you change the time and weather (force storms and rain when you shoot your gun near your bracelet , or make it freezing cold and snow, to cross some sections )
Is this game now worth your time … yeah , now it is … so here half of the game … with the one puzzle that is still jank , when you have to drop glowing mushrooms and then wander around to make the Crow land near them and give you the key … a puzzle that works 10% of the time :/ … after the 10th reload the bird Ai was like “Fuck , now i get it , you want me to get the shroom , K” … and then clipped off , fuck … guess the new mode has some clipping problems :/
At lest its totally complete on the Fixed Camera Less Detailed Mode … since , in this mode its random jank , more detailed and pretty but jank …

at 1:00:57 you get the story hook … that can put you off, or pull you in … since 1h of the game …is the well , the game tutorial… that teaches you its quirks … that ends, when you turn the power on in this town, and then you get the TITLE SCREEN 56:20 …
