  1. Your settlement can only have 6 features in it, so you aren't missing any information on it. Any time an event adds a feature to your settlement (either positive or negative) it will replace an existing feature of the opposite value. If you somehow get another positive feature for your settlement it'll replace the spy.

  2. Just a little tip, you can summon your freighter while standing on the ground. In fact that's usually much simpler and faster then jumping in your star ship and flying up to space until you find the right location to summon your freighter. If you do summon your freighter from the ground, it will actually be a lot closer to the planet then if you summon it from space. Happy freighter-ing. 🙂

Another tip regarding frigates. If you notice the stats of each frigate you inspect for possible inclusion in your fleet, look for ones that have stats at least 20 or above if you want them to return usefulness. For example, if the stat for Trade is 20 or above the frigate will actually do much better in its category of trade, same for Combat, Exploration, etc. You will get a better return on your investment. There are five types of frigates, Trade, Combat, Explorer, Industrial, and Support. Most players find that the first four are more useful for the types of missions offered while the Support class of frigate seems less useful. Others like the Support class for missions once they have several frigates for each mission. Individual choice. Myself I've never used a Support frigate and have never had a problem getting really useful items returned from missions.

Also, when sending out your frigates on missions the three slots where you can add things like "Mind Control", or "Faster Then Light Calculation" items to improve the results of a mission – those items you need to make (usually in the cargo area of your freighter) similar to when you make a component for something in your ship or backpack. Hope that helps some.

  3. One of the planets (a volcanic type) that you landed on awhile back had Basalt on it, you just missed it because you where looking for it like a plant or mineral. When you scan a planet to see what type of planet it is it also lists what sort of elements are to be found on it, if it has Basalt it will be in the list. Basalt comes in piles similar to copper and gold and other such elements that are mined with your terrain manipulator. Basalt is found on volcanic and scorched type planets if that helps.
