  1. The first zombie movie to feature fast zombies and IMO the best is The Return Of The Living Dead. Kind of a low budget movie but fun as hell with comedic elements along with gore. Great punkish rock soundtrack. It does have one character who’s naked the majority of the time. But I think you guys would enjoy something different and not so heavy.

  2. Zombie movie recs: Zombieland, Zombieland 2, 28 Weeks Later (this is loosely a sequel, but nobody from the first movie is in the second one, and it is better than the first one and you don't have to watch the first one to watch the second, but the music of the first one rocks), 28 Days Later, the afore mentioned first one, which is still excellent and I guess you ought to watch it first anyway, and Warm Bodies off the top of my head. I have way more you shouldn't watch, LOL, as in I've watched these bad zombie movies so you don't have to. Went through a phase. Now apocalyptic movies, I got a laundry list of those.

  3. I didn't think this was the best movie, but it was entertaining, lots of action and drama.
For a funny scary zombie movie I highly recommend Warm Bodies (2013). The one where there are tips for surviving zombies is Zombieland (2009). Shawn of the Dead (2004) is also fun.

  4. There are 2 books pertinent to this. The Zombie Survival Guide that is almost tongue in cheek because there is great practical advice there. This movie is based on the following book by the same name. And FYI his Dad is Mel Brooks. Yes, THAT Mel Brooks.

  5. 45:55: Spoiler Alert: The title "The Walking Dead" (Comic and TV show) isn't necessarily talking about just the zombies, but a way to describe the survivors of a zombie apocalypse. It is a nice play on words though because of the circumstances.

  6. I haven't seen this movie in so long, watching it with you two brought back the anxiety 😆. I think it was open for a sequel but if they did they'd feel too much like if Brad was in it they'd make him some high-end action star. It's so good, whoever wrote this needs applause.
I easily recommend a Netflix movie #Alive I think it's sub and dub option. But it's got good hold your breath danger

  7. 26:15 Zingaya!!! She's got the bite!
By the way, any plans of watching Peter Jackson's Braindead on the channel?
(It's available for free on YouTube, if that makes any difference…)
Return of the Living Dead would be great, too

  9. The book isn't comedic. It's more like an afteraction report to the UN after the world has settled where the author had interviewed survivors. It's honestly a great read. I wouldn't say the movie is even remotely like it, but it is still a really interesting story on it's own.

  10. I'm not into scary movies but I love this one. I guess the realism of it.
Another one I like "on this level" is War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise. I recommend it, if you haven't seen it.

  11. Two books that are linked from the same author The Zombie Survival guide which is pretty much what you thought the book was about but also sort of primer for the other book World War Z. Which is basically a collection of "accounts" of survivors from around the world that as written in universe after the global zombie pandemic is finally contented
