Pune Girl Attack: On the morning of June 27, a 21-year-old man attacked a 20-year-old college student in Pune’s Sadashiv Peth with a machete, allegedly because she had broken off their relationship due to his abusive behaviour. A few youngsters in the area caught the assailant at the time of the attack and handed him over to the police after thrashing him. The incident took place around 10 a.m. near the Perugate police chowky of Vishrambag police station and was caught on security cameras installed in the area. The police have identified the alleged attacker as Shantanu Laxman Jadhav.

  8. I'm really proud of those guys, who saved the girl & her friend.
    But I also need to say that parents, relatives, teachers and neibhours should teach the kids, teenagers, youngsters our indian culture deeply through the heart.
    Cause I'm from Mumbai and I'm seeing lots of teenagers roaming like couple. Having avoidable stuffs for fun in open areas, consciously away from home. Bunking the school/collage and finding a place for adultery.
    I tried to make complaints, fight with them, but that's not helping.
    As a father of a daughter, I request elderly people to communicate with your kids daily. Show them a good way by spending more time with them.
    Love your children, keep them safe.
