Yes, this is on the correct channel 😂 I was on vacation and took time off from the second channel so I could chill while away, which is why this is here. Hope you enjoy it 🤓
Dude! Love those glasses.
Merphy, no pier!
Beautiful vacation! Thanks for (virtually) taking us with you!
VEGABOND!!!! so happy youre reading this
Andabas en Puerto Rico, la isla del encanto? Hell yea, hope you had a good time in my tiny little country.
I hope you enjoyed our beautiful island ❤️
=0)
That place looks so cool, it looks like something you'd see in a movie
Hope you enjoyed it! Be glad you didn’t run into me cause it would have turned into a one piece ted talks 😂
What a coincidence, I’m currently reading my first Discworld book and absolutely loving the absurdist humour as well! I’m reading Monsterous Regiment which is considered a “stand alone”/entry point into the Discworld & so highly recommend! 🙌
You need to read Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "100 years of solitude."
I had the same issue with my Vagabond volume awhile back. I think it's just cheap binding
So glad you had a nice and safe trip! I certainly enjoyed the footage. May I add, for someone who's not really into music, you always choose some nice, atmospheric music to enhance it. "Island of the Lost" sounds interesting, I love shipwreck stories. Will check it out! Thanks!
So happy you liked Guards, Guards! I thought you would.
you speak spanish?
If you’re willing to read the Death Discworld books at some point Hogfather is a great Christmas special!
It seems Island of the Lost is newspaper reporting more than non-fiction narrative.
Murphy, I gotta know how'd you enjoy the road to Cabo Rojo? Better than a roller coaster right lol
Merphy, in an old video you said that you were coming to my country Costa Rica, but now knowing that you are in Puerto Rico I realize that like most of the people in the world you got confuse Costa Rica and Puerto Rico, and now my feelings are really hurt ☹
Im so happy you visited. I instantly recognized Crashboat, thats a lovely beach. I would like to reccomend Terrazo by Abelardo Diaz Alfaro and La charca(the pond) by Manuel Zeno Gandia both are puertorrican authors.
That Vagabond cover really reminds me of David Bowie as the Goblin King from Labyrinth!
Every anime has a beach episode.
Vagabond is really good, but it’s best quality is the art. It’s the best art of all manga ever. Only two series’s art comes close- berserk, and one punch man. This has been my hot take.
You got a lot of good reading ahead of you if Guards is your very first Discworld book. It's a great one, but they get even better.

VAGABOND HUGE W > > > >
I love the Discworld books with the Watch characters! I thought they were getting a bit stale when I got to Jingo, but that one turned out to be a outlier.
Is Guards! Guards! a good place to start for the discworld series?
Yeah unfortunately the Vizbig editions of Vagabond are pretty notorious for their bindings/spines being pretty weak. It sucks too, because I personally think they're gorgeous books, but their durability is kinda garbage for a lot of people.
I never thought I'd be nostalgic for PR but this video made me want to go back.
Same thing happened to me with the Vagabond editions and I saw other people too, so I sold them out, these omnibus editions are terrible. I bought the singles in my mother language (Brazilian Portuguese, I also preffer our editions of Vinland and Berserk). If you read any other language than English I'd suggest getting your Vagabond as those, the singles in english are also hard to find it seems.
Great Vlog!
If you end up liking Vagabond I highly recommend the novel it’s based on, “Musashi” by Eiji Yoshikawa. One of the most epic books/endings ever.
Merphy Vacation Arc
Which of Pratchett’s books would you guys recommend starting with? 🧐📚😊
So cool that you start reading Vagabond! It's a masterpiece! Certainly Top 3 manga
Vegabond is one of my fav story after one piece. I think you will love vegabond and I would recommend real manga from the same author. ❤
I watch you because of One Piece! This is my beautiful island im glad that you posted this video weve gone through do much over the last few years, appreciate it!
That's my island! My home! I'm so excited you were there!
To your eternity has started it's final arc (I believe) I would totally recommend 😊
Wow!!! What a cool place this is!!!! However I'm so curipus about Vagabond, but I just started the Wheel of time (and I'm really slow because English is not my mother language)… so I'll rewatch this video in a couple of year hahaha! …. Guards Guards is so coool!
I am excited for you to experience The Hogfather. It was my first discworld and it's something I still re-read (and re-watch the bbc adaptation which is also excellent)
so excited to hear you talk about guards guards!
