I ended up drawing a diagram of this puzzle to solve it. I’ve never had to do that for a game before. I didn’t realize the 2nd guy can use the 1st guy’s clone, so my solution was to leave a 2nd guy clone at the end of the bottom lane and then run to the top, switch and teleport down. Once I realized the clones transfer over it was easy.

At first it was so stressful.
It never came to my mind to use a snapshot to get that pedal step on the second replay. Nice job abstracting the puzzle!
