Glad it worked. We really in need of good AA 2d from major publisher
I enjoyed the demo but didn’t get the feeling that I was playing a pop game. Don’t intend on buying
Can't wait to play this ! Demo was a great time and this video Def confirmed that it would be worth my time.
nice
This game is amazing. After the intro moments and especially once you get into areas with denser, harder movement-gauntlets/trap-gauntlets, the Prince of Persia essence really does hit. Genuinely shocked they created such a sick Metroidvania and Prince of Persia game and simple but very kinesthetically pleasing combat system. Just. Man…
Wait, so Vahram was Vergil, Orod was Kratos, and it's a pretty good guess that Radjen would've been Bayonetta if her fight wasn't cut.
So who's Menolias? I don't think any of the big character action series star a bow user. Maybe he's Hanzo Overwatch, but that's a bit out of place next to the other three.
Get this team on Assassins Creed right now! 😭
I love the screenshot feature so much. Makes it so much easier to remember what i need to get to whatever the secret is
Not PoP if you don't play as the Prince/destined Prince. So.. no thanks! Also best in 20 years, yeah right! lol. Two Thrones was 2005 and the reboot 2008 PoP is great too.
I'm going to most definately get this game to support Ubisoft making more linear games but PoP Sands of Time is a game I replayed a couple years ago and I just didn't like as much as I used to. The enemies waves is something people bash the first Uncharted for but it's worse in SoT, in UC1 at least it was a cover based shooter and heashots are easy, in SoT, all the enemies are damage sponges and there is little means of dispatching the hordes so combat is just boring. And there is too much combat in a game that doesn't have a good combat system. I'd even say all of the Ubisoft made PoP games are better since they don't have this issue. PoP 2008 at the very least uses bad combat as a pseudo fail state for not being good at the platforming, the combat in SoT is just boring and it amazes how it gets away with that so much.
This game does seem like it has the best combat in the series however.
You're easily one of my favorite creators on the platform. Your writing and delivery is top-notch and you articulate your points so well. Thank you for continuing to produce such high-quality content!
The Ubisoft marketing department did more damage to this games' sales than anything possibly could have.
Wow incredible content
I am 44yr old and have been playing games since the 80's and I have to agree that this is a real return to form for ubisoft and I have a feeling that they are turning things around, while I'm sure they will still continue to make crap and rip off people who let themselves be ripped off I think that they are going to try and make some more quality games, its just a hunch and I could be wrong but I hope not.
Oh wow, you're right that the dude is Vergil. Is that him stabbing and betraying his ally? Kind of like what Vergil does in DMC3? Is this DMC3 with a painted Prince of Persia coat over it?
Underrated game, needs more spotlight!
God of War Ascension has a bad ass Manticore design as well.
I also noticed two other direct homages/references -> The way King Darius lifts up his weapon in front of him during his intro cinematic is exactly how Morgott does it in Elden Ring. Also, after you defeat him, Menolias tells us that he's weak because he still needs a weapon, and a true warrior does not need a weapon. This is exactly what Thors says in Vinland Saga, and I believe it's an homage
Hey Jay just a heads-up. I don't know if you're aware that The Hidden One plagiarised your "When did Assassin's Creed Get Bad" video 3 weeks ago with "The Downfall of Assassin's Creed".
It's very apparent at minute 7:00 where they use the same sentence structure.
It's your most popular and one of your best videos. And they already took +100k views from you.
