SailGP is sailing redefined. Established in 2018 and headquartered in London, SailGP is an annual, global sports championship featuring bold, cutting-edge technology and awe-inspiring athleticism. The fan-centric, inshore racing takes place in some of the most iconic harbors around the globe and culminates with a $1 million winner-takes-all match race. Rival national teams from Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Great Britain, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland and the United States battle it out in identical supercharged F50 catamarans, engineered for intense racing at electrifying speeds exceeding 50 knots (nearly 60 mph/100kmh).

As the event becomes more and more technical, the audience gets smaller and smaller.
“As a relatively new team” is Burling’s new “for ourselves”.
Bit cold there mate @ Slingsby
Why don't we get to see practice day racing?
It isn't the AC… but it will do in a pinch.
Missed it the first 100 times ….. do Tom and Peter get along outside of racing???? Must say as a Kiwi I support NZ all the way but Slingsby seems a competitive but humble guy.
Given the global stature & status of SailGP, in particular the final, I feel that press conference interviewer @Alyse Zwick should be professional enough & respectful enough of the international drivers to research & practice correct pronunciation of all drivers' names. e.g. for Quentin saying "Ken-ton" sounds so different to the more correct "Con-tan".
Sucks we couldn't watch the racing in New Zealand.
