  1. You did end up landing again, shortly after the Tony Hawk sword-skating section, otherwise Glodell couldn't have boarded the ship to found you out.

A little timeline of events :
    > Grem boards the Charadrius in secret
    > While there, Junah makes the ship take off, presumebly by fooling the lovestruck helmsman, and to create a diversion to check Louis headquarters by herself (althrough, Gallica says she comes out of the storage room, so who knows?)
    > Grem gets flew off while outside of the ship, and the skating section happens
    > as soon as he enters Louis' headquarters from outside, the guards finally manage to take control of the Charadrius, and bring it back on land
    > While Junah and Grem are talking, Glodell boards the ship and finds them, you know the rest

The only odd part is how Basilio and Fidelio say that the Runner is 'airborne', right after the scene where Glodell finds Grem and Junah, which doesn't make sense, because how would have Glodell boarded the Runner while it was still on air? I have to assume that was just to show they were outside and saw what happened, because otherwise it makes no sense.

  2. This is the part of the game I really felt the pacing issues. You've entered a section that is like 3 or 4 hours long where you are railroaded from event to event, make very few choices of your own, and have… two (?) battles the entire time. By the end of it I was just praying I would regain my freedom or just throw me in a dungeon so I can hit something. That isn't to say nothing interesting happened, but man, Atlus like to have combat, story, and bond leveling come in separate chunks.

  3. Regarding your comment about already having the required royal virtues to do follower rank and therefore didn't necessarily need to spend more time on raising the royal virtues, I would say that the reason is because you are also kind of lagging behind with ranking up your Followers, and there are many of them left.

Not saying it's a bad thing, as people do stuff at their own pace, but one thing to note is, unlike Persona where it's fine not to max most Social Links because there are many alternative good personas with good skills, this is not quite the case for Metaphor and Archetype. Because good skills are usually only found on Elite level Archetype (max follower ranks). So it may ended up limiting what you can and cannot do later in the game.
