Prepping my CHOPPED GQ for TOUGH TRACKS & TOURING for 3 weeks in Tasmania (This is Tassie Pt. 1)

After several years of abuse on the beach & in the bush, my GQ Patrol was full of rust & covered in dents. After my recent trip to Cape York, I decided it was time to chop it into an extra cab ute & rebuild it fresh & ready for its next life. Welcome to itโ€™s first shake down trip in Tasmania.

  1. Hey mate , just watching now. the nuts should be replaced on all your training arms . they are called cone lock nuts The domed end is oval shaped and designed to lock onto the thread and stops it undoing . Loctite might last but if they are old nuts I would look at replacing.

  2. Love this 4b, spacey patrol is the best!. Followed the build and froth. Please remove the Toyota badge on grille ๐Ÿ˜‰ no badge is mint, well that's what I've done on my '06 GUTD ute. Heaps keen to see more episodes ๐ŸคŸ
