As a 3rd generation Vet let me just say.. I dont trust our govt anymore than the former USSR. Furthermore, had Putin run for POTUS in 2016, we all would have elected him. YUP – very true, that a real SHTF event will have LONG lasting effects. Most of us will NOT survive them. The old & infirm will DIE QUICKLY, as a Congressman once said. Young kids & the unprepared will fall NEXT, along with those addicted to drugs. Only the folks who ALREADY live far from major population centers, off-grid, and self-sufficient will SURVIVE & THRIVE.

People put way too much faith in chinas hypersonic missiles. Americas hypersonics are years ahead of chinas, the biggest reason we are making them like China is the cost. 1 hypersonic is about 100 million dollars. Compared to standard missiles at about 2 million. So for the price of one hypersonic you could fire 50 tomahawks and that makes more sense. One hypersonic has 100% of anti missile defenses focused on it but 50 tomahawks forces defenses to track more missiles. Even if half of the tomahawks get taken out that still leaves half that made it through. It makes more sense to go that route to me anyway. And American hypersonic missiles are testing rotary detonation engines, that’s the next generation engine for missiles and fighter jets. It’ll increase power and fuel economy in fighters and missiles. That equals longer range and faster speeds. Just because we’re not threatening China with hypersonic weapons doesn’t mean we don’t have them. Their cost is ridiculous, for the price of one hypersonic we can buy an f-35 lol. China knows what they can and can’t do, that’s why they didn’t do anything when pelosi landed in Taiwan. China is losing their citizens faith. After pelosi landed in Taiwan and China did nothing they had protests. I’m sure some day China could match our military but it’s not today, our leadership sucks, but we still have what it takes to win a war and China knows it otherwise they would fired at Taiwan instead of running drills. The other thing is China knows how hard it’d be to invade an island as defended as Taiwan they’re using that to try an unite their citizens while their banks crash. America does the same thing.
