Post Game Wrap Up Show: 49ers with a 3rd String QB Beat Miami

On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Post Game Wrap-Up Show, Mike and Tom break down the Dolphins’ loss to Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers. The guys look at Tua’s poor performance and game and speculate what may have led to it. Why did Miami’s offense not show up this week after having weeks of scoring at will against opponents? They also talk about if the loss of Terron Armstead was a reason for the poor play of the offense. Then they talk about how Josh Boyer and the Dolphins’ defense let a 3rd string quarterback in his first real game ever in meaningful time go up and down the field on them at will. We talk about what this means for Miami’s chances in the AFC East and the playoff picture overall and look ahead to next week’s primetime meeting vs. the Chargers. All of this and more on today’s DolphinsTalk.com Post-Game Wrap-Up Show.

  1. What you missed is that that PI call extends the drive where they take the lead. Give the rookie QB confidence and changes the complexion of the game. Where there is a razor thin difference in the NFL between winning and losing getting a break like that swings the momentum of the game. Every game there are circumstances like that but this game was set up for the 49ers and that was the difference in the game
