This was beautiful.
This is a great story, but it is also ABSURD! How does he KNOW the girls are the only survivors? He left that absolute TREASURE TROVE of the alien ship, without even a glance. He feeds the girls HUMAN food without any idea of their body chemistry … and all this in just the first TEN minutes. This story is so full of holes it makes Swiss cheese look as dense as Osmium! Thankfully, the rest of the story makes up for the terrible beginning!

Theres a few …commense sense things wrong with this story…first and foremost , 99% sure that doctors/scientists would run a bunch of tests to make sure the twins were compatible with …just everything and they would 1000000% be under constant governmental care. They wouldn't go to a public school, but instead be privately taught and Ryan would still be allowed guardianship more then likely especially if the children formed a bond with him.
Good story, but what I don't understand how a slaver factions military could rival an empires capital defense fleet. Was it a slave empire lie the Hutt from Star Wars or something else? It's pretty bad of the author to only call them slavers and then make them powerful enough to challenge the capital home fleet. Why would slavers have a fleet so huge and powerful that it could be a challenge for probably one of the most powerful empire fleets. I could understand if it was a nation of mercenary's, but this is slavers we talk about, military ships are costly and not profitable if you are just going to use them to get slaves. I guess this slave faction probably are funded from a faction opposed to the royal family but because it isn't mentioned in the story it doesn't count because the reader/listeners of the story aren't meant to guess these kind of details. Just add a few more minutes to explain this and it would been good.
As a grandfather, the storyline really tugged at my "Dad Heart", fear and anger of someone missing with mine is a shared fear of all Dads. Good story, but I have to admit, I get shades of "The Matrix" whenever someone says, "Mr. Anderson. " I half expect an agent Smith to appear.
P.S. Wouldn't be a bad Netflix live action or a Crunchyroll anime. ( If anyone in power is listening.

I was looking at the opening clip: the short person at the left, holding hands with a taller person, looks like the body was split in half. With the bottom half walking forward and the upper half being turned around, such that the red backpack is shown. Beautiful Story and brought me to tears.

What was happening at the school is incredibly unrealistic. The world governments would never let those kids go to a regular school. The very idea is ridiculous.
