Polish defence minister criticises Soviet-era aircrafts as new FA-50 fighter jets unveiled

โ€œAirplanes from the Western world are superior to post-Soviet aircraft.โ€

Poland showcased one of the South Korean FA-50 fighter jets it has acquired at a military base in the suburbs of Warsaw.

The aircraft will contribute to the modernisation of Polandโ€™s Air Force fleet, which currently includes both Soviet and post-Soviet fighter jets.

  2. Ukraine is after F-16s principally because of its LANTRN system and, specifically, to use JSOWs (a glide bomb) with it. Using the bell curve attack profile, the F-16 stays low and fast and then rapidly rises, releases the JSOW, which can glide up to 70 miles, before steeply descending again

  3. They remind me of the polish fighter pilots in ww2 to whom the free world owes a huge debt of gratitude. Particularly as they won the war but lost their country to the Kremlin's tyranny.

  4. F50 is a cool compact fighting jet almost f16 like , giving f16 to ukraine is important because there are plenty f16 surplus but will never match russian airforce in numbers so f16 can fire – The AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) is an American beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile capable of all-weather day-and-night , this allows f16 to fire and forget, turn around and head home long before ruskies get a visual or a good lock, so lack up f16 numbers are made up by more advanced air to air weapon systems. ukraine only needs to win the skies locally over a battle area to make a big difference

  5. Better have your own stuff instead of trusting someone else with weapons.

Ukraine war has highlighted US and Major Europeans power on their behavior about helping another country defending itself.

๐Ÿ’ฏ % confidence on what you can produce yourself. Those so called security guarantee or article 5 are just toilet paper ๐Ÿ“‘ as the famous Budapest Memorandum Ukraine has willingly disarming itself with more than 3000 nukes, 4000 long range Rockets, long range bombers and so one.

Ukraine wouldnโ€™t be at this situation if they trusted their arsenal more than a piece of paper written as security guarantees by oncle Sam with the help of France and UK.

Poland ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ is going on the right direction like Turkey ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท. โ€œ we have articles 5 but letโ€™s better arm ourselves instead of trusting someone else army for our securityโ€.

Every Europeans Countries should have Nukes for Peace in Europe or no peace at all for everyone. Since nuclear weapons have become toll of territorial expansion and imperialism.

  7. Much are they going to cost on the black market ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ . Can't wait for them to get fkd by the Russians . I want to start hearing the excuses . They were painted the wrong colour . The wheels were put on upside down . But I'll back the excuse that the Nazis couldn't fly them . ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
