This video is a work of fiction and intended for entertainment purposes only. The hypnosis portrayed is simulated and does not represent actual hypnotic practices. Do not use this video in place of professional advice or treatment. The script is inspired by one written by Dibokucres, but I deviated heavily from the original script. What can I say, Poison Ivy took over. 🍄

  2. I think that whenever Ivy has been portrayed with green skin in her mainstream appearances, the intention has been to drive home her deviation from the normal physiology of a human. I've always found this to be interesting because it implies a stronger disconnect between Ivy and humanity not just in terms of physiology but in terms of her social isolation and the psychological impact of being different. Ivy sees herself as alone against a world of selfish, destructive humans and having green skin only serves to reinforce that perspective, making it that much more difficult for her to soften her stance against humanity when efforts are made to rehabilitate her. Beneath her seductive facade, Ivy is in truth consumed by this perceived difference, trapped in her endless war against those who she sees as different from her in mind, body, and spirit.

Purely from an aesthetic perspective, I think portraying Ivy with green skin is more visually striking, giving her a more intimidating and memorable appearance than if she were to appear similar to a normal human woman. Even for those who don't agree, I hope they can at least appreciate the dedication of a YouTuber who goes that extra mile to effectively portray her vision of how the character should appear.
