  1. Oh Sydney, you chose a hell of horror game to get your feet wet. Still, this is a side of you i don't think we've seen. You've stared down some of the most insane and terrorrfying people in reality. And even though you were panicked the whole time more or less, you still gave it a try and pushed through. Great start.

If a more "relaxed" horror experience is more your speed I might suggest Silent Hill 2-4 if you want some slow lingering thought provoking horror. I would how ever recommend playing on easy mode though, not because you're a bad gamer, but because they use tank controls and they're a pain to get used to if you didn't grow up with them. I would recommend the resident evil 2 and 3 remakes for their more action based horror with campy dialog. But you've already made it quite clear that you have a distain for zombie based monsters.

  2. You're actually on the best mindset to experience horror, the whole point of horror is experiencing the cold sweats and fear in a safe environment. Its like a rollercoaster ride. When a horror game veteran has played many of these type of games, they're not as scary as they used to be. But like an old heroin addict the horror game veteran is desperately seeking for the same kind of fix he used to get from these type of games.

  3. 10:49. If you want to know the background of the creatures, Sydney, check out the two animated movies that were made as background to the games. If you don't want to play the games, there's full game movies of the games (the cutscenes) on YouTube.

  4. 15:18. Think of the Tram system on the ship as a horizontal elevator – due to length of the ship, it allows crew to traverse vast distances very quickly without expending personal energy in walking large distances to other places on the ship. They only differentiate between the two because there's already vertical elevators to avoid confusion.

  5. I've finished DS1 & 2, will get 3 done eventually (bad reviews, but surely it's similar) – I don't think there's zombies, mostly big mutants…but my memory isn't great beyond a few minutes ago.

  6. As an advice from a gamer for 20 years, just play the games from mouse and keyboard… It's much better, with pc gaming you have a much better experience overall, better graphics, better fps, more Hertz, less imput lag and so on.
