I finished this one yesterday and I must say, Odyssey is better. This game just feels unfinished in a way, gutted, lifeless? I don't know, Odyssey had more emotions/personality in their characters.

Just gotta say, this game took me around 120 hours to get through going for most of the content before the dlc. I'd recommend exploring on your own time and just recording the actual missions if this continues.

Mythy, even if you don't play it on stream, I reckon you'd get such a kick out of nier automita! Fighting mechanics and storyline would definitely be your thing

The "one off" thing is fine for small/indie games but it just feels pointless for big story driven games, other people already said that but it just doesnt feel worth it watching some videos knowing you're basically just playing a demo and moving on. Worst case just make games that arent that well received by your audience a side thing, one video per 2 weeks or something. You are really entertaining but thats a bummer
if you want to experience the best the early games have to offer, I suggest Assassins creed 2. You dont need to know anything about the franchise to know whats going on. Still the best game in the whole series imo. Black flag is a close second.
Of the 3, this is the best of the AC RPGs. I wasn’t very big on Odyssey, but I did sink ludicrous amounts of hours into this game. I actually just came back to it, because I saw the destiny and monster hunter collabs. I’d love to see it played again, but I will say, this is one of the biggest games in terms of scale and duration.
Personally I found this one to be the blandest of the 3 AC RPG's. Odyssey is pretty and fun if you don't treat it as AC. Origins is flat out my favourite, love Bayek and Egypt looks great, it also had the simplest and least intrusive RPG elements so I liked that aspect.
Personal opinion of course, I know many like Valhalla a good bit. England is just ehh.
If you were to check out the original games I'd recommend the first 5 storywise (1, 2, Brotherhood, Revaluation, and 3). If you're looking for a one-off game to check out then 2 and 4 are definitely the go to games in the series. Unity isn't too bad nowadays too but it's still a little buggy but overall pretty impressive. Kinda wish they built more upon the Unity style of AC rather than the RPG mess the series went into

Myth if you want to try one of the assassin creed game please go for Black Flag, NGL one of the best and you are assassin and pirate what more do you need and also great story memorable characters
If you want to you could try ac3 its abot the american revolution and its my favurite one and my first ac game. I was hooked after it.

The best assassin Assassin's Creed game imo is AC2 (and other Ezio games). Origins Odyssey and Valhalla are good games as RPG but not as AC games.
The japanese ac game will come in like 2024 or 2025

Tried this game on steam while it's free, my favorite aspect was exploration, the bullet sponge combat was meh and the story was kinda boring and predictable, but overall pretty fun if you can turn your brain off
If they called this game a different name then my expectations would've been different, but you can't call this game "assassin's creed" when the stealth is worse than combat

MYTH. You could play unity, that one’s got a pretty okay story and pretty good combat. Lots of versatility when it comes to weapon choice and play style. Just a thought :p

Day 607 of asking Myth to finish Hellblade
The games good just long, there’s so much it can do without but also so much it it can’t do without, constantly walking/talking bits you have to basicallly be an NPC through is so annoying. Prime example when you start dawn of ragnarok and you follow dwarves for 30 mins and have to go at their speed, it’s just filler.
Please play this fully it has a very deep story and you translating the names and titles gives it some extra spice 🙂
If you want a great Original assassin's Creed story, then play AC 2. The OST is very good as well.
