  1. Wow Jack, that is earning your keep mate! Why don't you just knock the claws off the crab or is there enough meat in the rest of the body to make it worth while eating the whole crab? Thanks for sharing the fun! Stay safe, eat well, have fun! 👊🤠🦘🐟

  2. Mythical Jack, nice video. A friend of mine did a survival challenge in the Pacific Ocean for a month in the early 1990s and avoided eating fish because it tasted of a poisonous seaweed, which sometimes forms in water, which some fish feed on and which would had serious consequences for those who ate the fish themselves.
What can you tell me about this?

  4. Can you harvest some of those small sharks? I have seen vlogs from Florida where they had the right to take some as a regular season. I don't know if a lottery picked permits or what. Just curious here, you have so many and I have eaten shark before and it was good.

  5. Great vid and everything else showing the real details of surviving alone but…. Without the smile and giggles of Fran, is like your vid does not have a proper complement that enlighten everything…anyway Thanks great vid…

  6. I think often times these focus on the food, but actually you can survive over 3 weeks without food. My priority would have been water straight away, that glass bottle is a godsend. Clean it, rig foliage to fill it and then go for food. Coconut water has rapid diminishing returns as it will quickly cause diarrhea. This was a great video though for sure. Would give anything to be on that island right about now.

I have no doubt, I could survive in that environment

  8. suggestion, if you have access to, use some hollow reeds or bamboo as a blow tube when starting fire, 1: keeps you out of smoke, can see better, 2: it directs the airflow in a more directed spot, not just blowing on
