Woohoo early for a new episode
The treasure sets are split up along horizontal rows, alternating green and blue backgrounds. the set you got after this first day consisted of just two items. Most of the other sets have quite a bit of treasures.
Just an FYI, it's typically not recommended to take 100 pikmin into a cave for reasons that have not appeared yet. I'd say go for somewhere between 80 and 90.
And it's not like you typically use all of your pikmin on any given floor anyway.
You could of course just throw one yellow pikmin at the electric gate instead of disbanding them all.
Yeah, Emperor Bulblax got nerfed into the ground, and he's probably easier to defeat than some regular enemies.
Another tip: you should always try and get flint beetles because every flint beetle drops potions (except the ones that have treasure)

I just like to think that the bulblax from pikmin 1 was an unusually big and aggressive individual and the rest of the species is normally like the ones in pikmin 2.
2 fun facts: the song the pikmin sing is a segment from ai no uta a song used to advertise the first game with the pikmin expressing their love for olimar, as for olimars name, in japan olimar is called orima which is an anagram of mario

The white pikmin do not do less damage. They are the same as yellows and blues

Fun little tip: you can leave pikmin planted over night, and they will not get eaten. If you leave pikmin planted, they will slowly grow over time from leaf > bud > flower. This was a mechanic in the first Pikmin game as well.
Considering how generous the game is with nectar, it's not the most useful. But don't feel too rushed to pick them if you don't need to. 😀

Wiggly, I know you probably thought Bulblax Kingdom had to be one of the hardest caves in the game and I'm here to tell you that unfortunately, it gets much MUCH worse. 😞
Pikmin 2 can be rude, lol. There's actually an exploit that can be done with the potion drops; one captain pushes the other into the drop, so they start drinking it, then drinks it themselves before the animation ends. It gives you two instead of one, but it isn't intended obviously. Whites don't do less, just the same as yellows and blues. Reds still do 1.5x and Purples do 2x, stun on impact, and home in slightly. Reds were definitely nerfed a lot :/ and so were the Bulblaxes :).
Olimar is such a character, lol.
