The unmanned Vulcan rocket has launched from Florida on its maiden voyage to the Moon.
The rocket took off from Cape Canaveral in the US at 07:18 GMT (02:18 EST) and is expected to land on the moon on 23 February.
If the lander touches down safely, it will be the first American craft to land on the lunar surface since the famed Apollo missions.
On board the rocket is the Peregrine robotic lander, which is carrying five scientific instruments.

This is the most amateur space launch coverage I have ever seen. No status updates, no info about the mission, just the most boring launch ever. I don't think half the ULA country's were watching. If we want to evolve space flight, it needs to be explained to the common man.

What do you think about the Vulcan rocket that the United States launched towards the Moon yesterday, January 8? Major news channels barely reported on it. Why wasn't there more information after the accident?
How many times has NASA or one of its affiliated contractors (or SpaceX, etc.) attempted to send a rocket to the Moon in recent years? Why do they continue to procrastinate and/or fail?

what do you suspect happens to the rockets? do they just shoot them into the upper atmosphere until they disintegrate or do they simply shoot them out of view and they fall into the ocean after? (kind of like how North Korea fires missels into their ocean nearby)

Where are the updates on this mission no live feed? No camera locked in on earth to shut up the flat earthers? Only information I can find about this mission is it's launch.
