This man sounds very intelligent and reasonable. Australia seems to have a great prime minister compared to our clown in Canada.
Piers spent too much time on the monarchy and Albanese was very diplomatic and really had his sharp wits about him.
Despicable
Very impressed with our Infrastructure Minister beung like a duck to water on the world stage and on a war footing. It's been pretty amazing to see him rolling out lifts to welfare, improving Medicare, whipping Landlords by changing the housing model away from speculators, welcoming the world via open borders and a huge population intake, telling Seniors to copay healthcare which is overdue and helping young people who see a bleak future ahead. Negatives have been The Voice Referendum without skipping to end to a Bill of Rights so all citizens get one vote, one value. Also outstanding is Federalism Reform as we have a bloated public service and a bloated governance structure with edge 3 departments overseeing every portfolio. It's bloated, needs to be mean as we shift to small g o government but citizen centred policy direction in MyGov by postcode. We can do better, but we are pretty great. USA is looking at us to copy NDIS, Medicare and possibly HECS/HELP.
We do not want to leave the monarchy!

To allow a person, simply by being born, to lead a country, is so bizarre I don’t know what to say. Even as a child, I remember talking to my dad about it because I thought it was so wrong. At 66, I just shake my head and try to enjoy the world that I now know for sure is just plain nuts.

Great response from Anthony when Piers pushed him on the China/Taiwan question… Would have thought he would have given an answer that would appease the Americans like Australia does usually. He gave a very diplomatic response as he probably learnt not to poke the bees nest when it comes to China and have its citizens suffer because of it.
