  1. I really hope my country (Russia) doesn't nuke us all because of a bunch of old crazy assholes in power (including our dictator) and we, humanity, will be able to actually become multi-planetary species: colonize & terraform Mars & Venus
p.s. thanks for the videos though, love your reactions

  2. Trying to live on Mars will NEVER be a successful endeavor in and of itself, but it will give vital experience for future terraforming on planets worth living on that are very far away, once we develop the technology to get there, thousands of millions of years from now, if it even happens.

  3. The dust problem has already been solved by NASA, they are going to use this method for the moon. But basically they are going to repeal the dust with an electrostatic charge shield on the EVA suit they will use for the Artimis mission.
Having said that though, it works because the moon dust is itself charged, so I am not sure if this is true for mars dust.

  4. The breathable air is already tested and solved with MOXI, which is designed to be scalable and can produce the needed mixture directly from the Martian atmosphere.

This will all be so much easier in 30ish years though, with the Nano fabricator, which will allow us to Tera Form, and even recycle entire planets, after we print the Dyson swarm to power it off course 😁

The first thing it'll do is print another one of itself and so on till everyone has access to one, and we can be 100% self sufficient, in all aspects we can think off.
It would also allow us to print Nano bots, that have the same capabilities, that'll swarm our bodies, take the carbon from our lungs creating a closed loop (as the O2 is reabsorbed by the lungs) and use the carbon to turn our bones into diamond, or adding a graphene layer on our skin that will make us bulletproof and pressure resistant in a vacuum.

Last but not least, we could recycle anything we touch as the bots like the fabricator take molecules apart atom by atom, to reform and print stuff in the palms of our hands, at this point magic is back in our lives and anything and anywhere will be possible.

  5. Really curious as to why you say you'd prefer setting up a colony on Venus rather than Mars. I'm certainly no expert on the matter and I know that Mars would definitely have it's own host of unique challenges, but from my understanding Venus is much more inhospitable what with it's pressure-cooker atmosphere, lakes of molten lead, and storms that rain sulphuric acid.
