  1. Zebu are cattle orginateing from India. Boss Indicus, as opposed to boss taurus which are European cattle. Most of the beef production from India is from water buffalo surplus from their beasts of burden. In my life time chicken and pork have gone from the most expensive meat to the cheapest meat basically from our ability to grow grain cheaply. Lamb/mutton and beef dont need grain imputs to grow, just grass. I dont know were Peter is getting his cattle growth rates from, Not a calf alive that can grow to a ton in a matter of months, takes at least a year and half to get that big, closer to 2 to 3 years even in a feed lot. Grass finished cattle arnt that much smaller and dont take that much longer to finish feed lot cattle. We work on growth rates of around 1 1/2kg per day on our grass fed cattle, feed lots get about 2kg per day or a bit over growth rates.

  2. Food is a must when you don't smoke, drink, or have fun that might be against the law. So meat is a sin when it comes to cost, but a loss of meat as a enjoyable treat means war! Which pillar of the world order do I need to knee cap in order to afford my sin of meat products again?

  3. Disinformation from a big industrial agriculture shill consisting of outdated talking points that have been debunked many times over. He uses a typical reductionist perspective – for example focusing on how America produces chickens more cheaply than other markets, yet omitting the enormous and increasing per capita health care expenditure in that nation as a result of the its toxic, poisoned food supply chains.
