Contra Costa County’s health department is investigating the emission of coke dust at the Martinez Refining Company on Friday, meanwhile neighbors to the refinery are frustrated.

What are we supposed to do with the fresh organic fruits and vegetables we've been tending, spending our money feeding and watering, and providing them with pest and disease inhibitors and remedies, for the past 6 to 8 months for our own health and wellness, that they're telling us not to eat? Just throw them away and say; "Oh well, you win some and you lose some"? ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Easy come, easy go??

  3. That lady is a Karen, I have to deal with that coke every now and then.. the Coke is used to refine petroleum into gas.. its harmless.. its little what the public know about anything in any industry. The used Coke is disposed in your local landfill with the rest of the trash.
