I snuck into a venue around 1987 and watched a soundcheck.
I believe it was Alison Krauss anyways I saw a guy walking around the back of the arena carrying some kinda gadget while the band was playing.
What did they use back then? some kind of sound meter.

Sorry I missed this live – but yeah we all do the best we can with what we've got! I'd like to think I still have some more miles to run on the odometer but I for sure don't try to max out my 0-60 time anymore… I'll get there usually but happy to take a little more time to get there.

Regarding the Axl Rose comments: I think Axl should sing the whole set in his natural baritone voice now (which is unique and amazing) and get a backup female vocalist to do the high notes in tandem. I think it would be killer and add a new dimension to the old songs.
Axl rose no he isn't singing like he was when he was in his 20's with guns n roses but can't expect him to but he still sounds alright one person who should hang it up or remained in retirement is Vince Neil I saw him with his side band at a festival concert and I was amazed he was able to finish the gig huffing and puffing gasping for air in the breaks of the song I thought for sure I was going to witness him collapsing on stage he had a hard time singing in key high notes wasn't hitting the key he was just out of shape that was before motley Crues world tour either he miraculously got in shape before this world tour or he's lip syncing playing with backing tracks which motley playing to backing tracks there's a lot of stuff out there clips to support that but I don't know I didn't want to spend the money to see motley Crue back in the day sure but not now but he needs to retire that show I saw it wasn't him having a bad day that was him trying to hold on to life selling his soul to get through the show lol
