  1. I am still hesitant to purchase this game on steam. Currently on sale however the reviews suggests a lot of bugs and some are game/progress breaking. Are there autosaves here or can you do multiple saves?

  2. So i'm a bit confused still, i thought inevitable excess was available during your campaign with your team. Instead they are both to do before your campaign? Once completed i can access to the buff and items for every new game or only for the next one i play?

  3. I would be more than happy if they can fix there production cycle. How on earth is it possible that every major patch/DLC renders me for about 2 hotfixes unable to play. Normally I would scream at someone who says sth. like this "dude, it's your mods"…. but I am still playing vanilla and again can't continue to play since textures suddenly won't load anymore. It's cool that they allways fix the issues I send in to them but oh damn… thats some really messy process they got there…

  4. I have to say, I am pretty underwhelmed by the DLCs. Inevitable Excess simply wasnt very good to be honest, and feels like it has much lower production values than the main game. I dont know about the most recent DLC as I havent yet played it (I am a bit burnt out on wrath of the righteous altogether), but whilst Varnhold's lot was alright, I only gave it 1 playthrough, and it at least had the advantage of starting you at level 5. Pathfinder is not a very good ruleset at level 1. A short, exclusively very low level campaign isnt all that appealing.

I would rather they focussed on DLC that was integrated into the main game, of a style and with a level of quality consistent with the main game (so no, a dungeon like the tenebrous depths doesnt count). An addon to the main game would also have been welcome if it were of a somewhat higher standard than Inevitable Excess, but scope here is always going to limited as you are completely maxed out by endgame.

Its admittedly a hard act to follow, but I think the Witcher 3 set a gold standard for DLC: high quality, substantial and well integrated into the core game.

  5. Your reward for beating the DLC being a bunch of game breaking items and abilities is… so incredibly boring and pointless. And that the boss rewards are dependent on difficulty when I play on Custom makes it even worse. They don't even let you control whether all this stuff shows up or not which makes me not even want to play the DLC now lol

  6. So the Inevitable Excess DLC is part of the main campaign right? I'll run into naturally in my main game with out having to do anything right? In this video he is referring to what I will run into on a 2nd play through if I beat inevitable excess on a previous game or if I selected it and beat it from the menu correct?

  7. what I don't understand is – am I meant to pause my main game playthrough then jump into the DLC then come back to main campaign? If so it doesn't seem very elegant and this is an issue I have with not just the pathfinder games but even the first dragon age – I dislike DLC that doesn't integrate into the overall main campaign and is instead relegated to a separate menu/save. Worse still if those other campaigns do impact the main one, then it just becomes cumbersome to navigate between them.

  8. Arcane Trickster with Wizard (Elemental Specialist: Cold) as the base caster class is an optimal Commander build. So the magic item is of limited usefulness because you don't really need it if your build is already optimized to use Cold damage.

  9. After trying to convince myself for far too many hours that I enjoyed Kingmaker I realized I didn't and every WotR video I watch and try to convince myself maybe this time will be different it won't but I love CRPG"s but you just realize even though you love the genre your not gonna love all the games in said genre

  10. About the Helm for the Lich … it implies that each Mythic class has its own item right? so if I want to unlock all the items for next playthroughs, how do I go about it?

  11. Soo my real questions is whether it’s really just lice or if all mythic get an extra item if clearing it as one. Do you know of this has been tested or not(there is surprisingly little information, action on this dlc online)

  12. so does that mean you only complete the DLC once and then it works for all main saves? because I play a new Varnholds Lot for every main campaign in Kingmaker

  13. The Rod is close to useless, in my opinion. The only very niche use for it that I can think of is converting an offensive spell into cold damage against an enemy that is vulnerable to cold; off the top of my head, that is the dragon Devarra, and some salamanders. Basically anything else in the game is likely to be more resistant to cold than whatever you would have changed it from. Also, if you play on unfair, the slow effect is exactly 95% useless, as it can only go off on a critical fail by the enemy, and if you cared enough to activate the rod for this, a 5% chance of it doing what you needed it to is just not even worth pushing the button. I wonder if they are planning on upgrading this item as they bring out more chapters of that DLC story?

  14. I probably only have time/inclination to do the main campaign once. So if you do the DLCs while you have a campaign running do you still get the bonuses (currently in act 1, after the assault on the Inn, so theoretically could start over, but would rather not).
