  1. That's a lot of content, Andy. Really nice video. Oline in the NFL is a tough gig. The dline guys are almost always better athletes, and the consequences for screwing up and getting a player like Aaron Rodgers clobbered even once are huge. It would not surprise me at all for Sean and Zack to need two full seasons to make a serious case for starting roles.

  2. Another great analysis Andy! I think and hope you are correct about the draft class. I have been excited about it since we got the 2 from Georgia. Looking forward to great results from this class for a long time and all I can thin about is that numbskull Orlovsky freaking out and calling this the worst draft of this class year.

  3. In a virtual world of arrogant and seemingly mindless commentary on Packer's Football, your podcast truly separates itself from the surrounding noise. Your analysis is intelligent and accurate. I find it difficult to imagine that some sports commentary is the result of actually watching these games, much less the film study that is so evident in your indepth breakdown of these athletes and the games they play. This is one of the few sports podcasts that I subscribe to, watch regularly and enjoy immensely. Just thought you might like to hear this from a fan of The Packers and your 'cast! Carry on Andy! …and as always, GO PACK GO!!!

  4. My baseball team is the Chicago White Sox, and Andy Herman helps me understand why the Green Bay Packers are consistently good and the Chicago White Sox are seldom good. The Packers are a superior organization.

  5. After watching Tom Brady on Sunday, I hope Aaron Rodgers will play until his mid-40s also. I remember older athletes like Hoyt Wilhelm in baseball and George Balanda in football. Those guys were old guys who played like old guys. But Rodgers and Brady play like young guys. Modern athletes are changing ideas about human potential!

  6. Any reason why GB has picked so many UGA players (other than that they’re good)? Does it have something to do with trusting the team’s SEC scout? I remember when Ron Wolf’s son was the team’s PAC12 Scout we picked a bunch of west coast guys ie Datone Jones, Kevin King, etc.

  7. The interesting thing about the draft a develop approach that Andy talks about is 100% true, except last year. Gutey drafted a few guys that don't fit that mold that were a bit out of character. Myers, Rodgers, McDuffie, SJC, and even Newman to a lesser extent.
