  1. I am excited to see these changes and hope the game makes a comeback! May have to give it a try again. Not sure how to feel about some of the reworks though, like orisa losing halt! And doomfist being so different. Doomfist is so drastically different at a fundamental level that it almost seems like an entirely different character, and while I know he’s always been tricky to balance it’s still strange

  2. When the beta comes out are you planning on doing videos? Or a live? Ima decide if I want to come back from that because idk overwatch has been letting me down for a long time now

  3. I really liked the idea of 5v5 myself when it was announced. I still do, but as someone who actually liked the MOBA-esque mixed with FPS aspects makes it feel like OW was striped slightly of what made it OW over most other generic FPS models. I liked protecting my team in conventional ways with defensive abilities or traditionally healing them as a support as a priority with aid with DPS on the side. The tank less so and especially support changes feel awful to me personally. I love the Doomfist and Orisa reworks though. That said even if I dislike these changes, I still recognize that they are wholly better for the game at large and moving forward. Especially for solo queues and feeling like your skillful input can and will really impact a game’s outcome. The needs of the many over the needs of the few or the one after all.

  4. I do wonder what the state of overwatch would be if there had been steady updates instead of a huge drought. What if they had gotten around to solving the problems that have been around a long time throughout the game's life?

  5. I am glad to see OW video, and very happy to hear especially from you that you see a potential for OW2 to be good. I stopped playing regularly OW several years ago, but I occasionally returned for PvE events. Sadly, without new content for years, I kinda gave up on OW. I am now again cautiously optimistic about OW2.
BTW I love your hero concept videos, are still working on new ones?

  6. What do you think, should overwatch 2 be free for overwatch 1 players? Because technically it's just the same game and if they just stayed working on ow1 we might get the same results that we have on ow2. Personally I hope this is what happens.

  7. I used to play doomfist a lot when I actually played the game often, and now I am really getting excited for OW2. Think I'm probably gonna be playing a lot of tanks, cause they are looking very fun to play rn.

  8. I think especially Torb and Sym would really fit in the category that was once the defense category. This would allow Sym to be Utility/Support. They should bring back shield generator. It was just a bad move to remove it. Torb to me should also be brought to his old state with the old turret and the armor pack system. I like his current ult more than the old one but to me his uniqueness was the turret, and especially this to my point of view is just too weak. // WHEN Sym should be a full on support she should have the following kit:
Left click: Lock on beam, right click: The balls 😀
Shift: Turrets (Which now heal, amount is raised to 6 gain) heal allies nearby
    E: Shield gen or teleport
Ult: Heal generator (similar to shield gen but with healing, like the new support passive) Will stay there until destroyed // (Photon barrier also possible, but all currently available supports have a healing ult!)

  9. I don't think it's worth. Idk why everyone is glossing over that they only reworked the characters and fix problems which could have happened for the first game. Unless the pve portion of the game is really substantial that breathes life into the game besides pvp, this is pretty much just ow 1 patch notes and balance fixes. So far ow 2 on a broad scale is pve portion is a dlc while reworked characters and new maps are free patches that were already given in ow 1. Not gonna say the reworks and pve is not going to be fun but for someone who paid full price for the game (not while on sale) and played your game extensively. Ow 2 is literally Johnny cage punching you in the nutsack if you have to pay full price for free patches and 1 be it small of big dlc additional content (pve). I really wanna see how they will price this game cause full $60/70 for ps5 I'd rather you slap me in the face with a dead fish and I'll look to you and say thank you. Cause that's what this is. Sorry about my rant but someone had to say that this company is greedy.

  10. i stopped playing overwatch a couple years ago but I have some of my best gaming memories with the game and I want to come back to it but I don't want to join with the fully established game and ranked etc so this sequel is making me think I should get it and come back

  12. wow a second game making leaps and bounds of changes with a story mode where you fight robots, while also being more focused on individual abilities instead of being so team-based that it takes one bad player to lose

    seems awfully familiar
