David Lynch, the bold, influential and innovative Oscar-nominated director behind hits like ‘Twin Peaks,’ ‘Blue Velvet’ and ‘Eraserhead,’ has died at the age of 78.
Lynch’s cause of death was not immediately available, but he had previously gone public about his emphysema diagnosis.
