  1. Dude ive literally never seen a cheater in any of my games…. ive been playing overwatch since like season 6 or so, from ps4, to pc, from low gold to high diamond. Feels like i'd have seen one by now if they're "sooooooo common."

  2. its not as if theres a new anticheat/engine lol.. its not hard use a paste and cheat or even code your own and use an external bypass. or just win a free key to critical hit

  3. Cheaters are the worst type of scum. And they take all the fun out of the game for others and themselves. Seriously it must suck to know you are so bad at a game that you must cheat to have fun.

  4. Two things: One, no I havent dealt with obvious cheaters in Overwatch One. I feel like cheating might be more of a problem in the higher ranks, because in the medal ranks people are reporting a widow for 10% HS accuracy already. They were always just good players, and calling them cheaters was senseless to me.
Two: Pls show epilepsy or photosensitivity warnings for the cheating scenes. Whenever you have a video like this, its really hard to avoid the footage, and thats really triggering.
    Thank you!

  5. Oh well. I'm glad i stick with single-players games. Disappointing i really hoped OW2 would be something different with strict anti-cheat & anti-smurfs and no queues. It same has OW1.

  6. Yeah well.. so much about their anti-cheat. Have seen an insane amount of wallhackers, pixelbots and aimbots already. Dead on arrival. But I guess it's deserved because Blizzard has become absolute garbage-

  7. This is incredibly concering for me. I am in two minds of purchasing this game already with some technical issues, along with another. When cheaters try to exploit weaknesses in games, it tarnishes and ruins the game's reputation. For myself, I want to play a game where I know its skill v skill not someone using some kind of exploit for their own selfish ends. When I know I have lost to a skilled player, it gives me the incentive to set a bar and to try harder learning from my mistakes as I can see and set a goal for myself to improve. But if I know if I have a lost a battle because of a player cheating, all I know is that the only bar that could be set there is to cheat to – something I will absolutely will not do. Knowing that so many players may have used cheats in a game puts me into the frame of mind to expect a cheater every time and makes it harder to discern a cheating player from a skilled player. In most cases, it is pushing me to consider it to be the former which I do not want to do.

I cannot be the only one who thinks the same way. If the cheating could be managed and kept on top of, I bet a lot of the frustrations and altercatory exchanges will become less frequent. But it is understandable that to tackle this is a challenge. These people who exploit are constantly one step ahead. But making it much harder for players to take advantage will push them on to other platforms forcing those platforms to do something about it their end too. It is a problem that will never disappear if it is viable. All that can be done is set up road blocks in the hopes that the cheaters will become frustrated in their efforts.

  8. I played only mystery heros in ow1 because of the cheater problem but even there they exist. People don't believe me because it's not obvious enough but I always spend the time to watch the replay and there are so many wallhackers in such unimportant matches its unbelievable. "wHo wOuLd hAcK iN mYsTeRy?"

  9. I kept dying to a solider and was watching the kill cam. He had no recoil when shooting, I just blew it off as mouse and keyboard since I'm on a console player and not used to PC play.

  10. I HATE CHEATERS – I stopped playing Overwatch 1 because of cheaters back in the days.. I recently jumped back in to Overwatch 1 have some fun.. Then I watched a replay of a match i just played.. Aimbot user on both teams… Dreadful… It's just so sad…

I would love to see some confrontations of cheaters, like interviews where you get an understanding of the person behind the cheating. I wouldn't be surprised if it carried over into their real life moral codex.

  11. The real question is: “To who the FK did you give the beta?” potentially I've lost the access cause as been given to cheaters… And the sequential one is “How can you be so dumb to let this happen?”.

  12. Looks like another helping of CheaterWatch and OverSmurf. Blizzard really needs to get their shit together. I’m still rooting for them but I’d understand if other gamers had enough already

  13. i've already had at least 8 cheaters this week idk how they think this si sustainable, there's no report system either, no anti cheat, so what are we supposed to do? not bitch at the rapists?

  14. At this point there are aimbots in almost every match in quickplay. Almost every match goes exactly the same. Early through midgame other team is laughably bad. Suddenly end game rolls around nothing has changed play style is the same and the other team literally can not die or miss a shot and rolls you hard. If you watch the game back you will see this is when aimbots get activated and other cheats start managing the teams resources. You will also see plenty on your own team where someone is trash until the end when they suddenly are on fire the last minute or so.

  15. i go against so many cheaters in mid- high diamond in ow1, its ridiculous, thats why whenever i see a new account dps on enemy team, it auto has me worried. I know it's a mind game, but it's frustrating to go against someone who is literally laughing and ruining the games for others. I feel like lowkey their are more cheaters and throwers then smurfs, and so many pretend to be smurfs from high elos but aren't. Not like smurfing isn't an issue but to add all that to the list, i can see why this game is so dead, or even getting worse. The Game devs aren't the smartest, to just drop ow1 and work on ow2 makes 0 sense, they are just going to let the community get so low that ow2 won't even bring it back.
