As a very casual Overwatch player that hasn’t played in years (mainly due to how sweaty PVP has gotten), I always thought the main reason they were doing OW2 was to try and get people like me back with the PVE modes. Now that that’s clearly not the current focus, I don’t really see why all these PVP changes couldn’t have just been implemented in OW. It feels like it’s just a way to get their already committed fan base to pony up some more money.
Interested to hear your thoughts—am I way off-base here?
so without pve is this just making an overwatch 2 by undoing all the nonsense from overwatch changes and additions. seems kinda dumb.
Neil here! Do you guys think the PVP portion of OW2 coming sooner make up for lack of communication and delays from Blizzard? Or do you think there should have been more on the table? Stay tuned for future discussions on the topic!
