  1. You have a solid list but i hsve a few questions one is that nas is a top ten rapper i would budge to top five or even top three but personally i think that even illmatic is not on par with the true goat notorious B.I.G and his album ready to die and i do have to say massive respects to your guys lists but i think guru, Big L and big Pun are all top 20 mc's especially for how impactful gang Starr was and i thibk you cant talk about classic and iconic albums without brining up capital punishment snd lifestylez ov da poor and dangerous but as an opinion i belive drake is a top fifty ir fourty rapper but i wont budge past that and i think snoop is a top 30 mc especially with doggystyle being in my top 20 albums of all time but overall amazing liat guys

  2. I've noticed that most people confuse the list of favorite rappers with the list of the greatest rappers. The list of the greatest rappers should include the names of people who have reached the top in terms of Impact in development of Hip-Hop , Influence on other Rappers, Longevity, Commercial success, Fame, Storytelling, Punchlines, Rap skills (lyricism, cadence, flow)…

For now, there are 5 rappers who meet ALL these conditions (no part.order):

2Pac, Biggie, Eminem, Jay-Z and Nas.

Top10 + Kendrick, Kanye, Lil Wayne, Andre3k, Rakim

  3. There are right people on that list but I think order is wrong… especially on Luca's

Andre3k doesn't even have a solo album, Nas is great but most people wouldn't be able name 5 of his songs, JayZ's greates hits are with features, and it is way to early for Kendrick to be in Top5 with all those legends …
Black Though and Mf Domm are also great but outside US almost nobody knows who they are…

  4. Ice Cube should definitely be a top 10 consideration. The writing on SOOC was better than NWAs second album. His first 4 solos range from classic to great. After Eric B And Rakim's first 3 albums and before Illmatic what solo rapper was making the best music? The answer is Ice Cube : 91 into 93 he's the best. He's one of the few rappers you can definitively make a case was the best at some point. I agree with Gibbs being in a Top 50. Over the last 8-9 years he's had a handful of AOTY contenders. Lupe would in my top 10 he's had AOTY contenders in 3 different decades and bar for bar he's one of the all-time greats.

  5. Aesop Rock, Kool Keith, Danny Brown, Billy Woods, Earl Sweatshirt and Mach-Hommy need to be on a top 50. No excuse for these names not being there. I love MF DOOM and he's top ten for me, but he needs to stop being the token underground pick, get some other names on there. Drake ahead of these guys is painful on the eyes.

  6. Don’t know how you don’t have T.I the guy who invented trap music.

Jeezy at 50?! Let alone not on the list. His infuence with BMF, trap music, snowman shirts in school, etc.

Gucci Mane influence on the younger generation like migos and young thug all the way down. Has easily one of the best mixtape discography’s

No Lil Jon. Created a whole genre of crunk music and produced stuff

lol Lauryn Hill but not Nicki Minaj like who influenced the female rappers of today. And bar for bar Nicki is without a doubt better.

Nobody from Memphis: 8Ball and MJG or Juicy J????

Never understood either how artists who have 1-2 albums can crack the top 50. Big L and Big Pun RIP but they don’t have a big enough discography to be in here. Neither does Lauryn Hill. Andre 3000 is part of outcast but doesn’t have his own all rap project. Biggie is the exception because the impact of his music spans generations

Apparently if you are from New York you’ll make this list and if you are from the south good luck

Ludacris, Camron, Too Short, Nelly, Master P, Bun B, Rick Ross, Future, Twista, Nipsey,

Common has 1 good album and is a bigger actor than artist. For that you could’ve just added Jamie Foxx or Will Smith lol
