Orlando, Florida — On June 6, 2023, at 12:15 p.m. a Seminole County Sheriff’s Deputy on routine patrol stopped Orlando Police Officer, 35-year-old Alexander Shaouni for driving nearly twice the speed limit along a stretch of road. Officer Shaouni was going 80 mph in a 45 mph zone down Florida Avenue. When the deputy caught up with Shaouni, authorities say he didn’t stop and drove through cars to avoid the deputy. The deputy eventually got him to pull over at the intersection of State Road 434 and Hammock Lane. During the stop, footage shows Shaouni dressed in police uniform driving a marked Orlando Police Department SUV. When questioned, body camera footage shows Shaouni becoming furious.
“What? I am going into work, my man,” he says to the deputy. “Why are you trying to pull me over as I’m going into work?”. “Because you’re going 80 in a 45,” the deputy responds. When asked for his driver’s license, the officer says no, returns to his cruiser, and drives away. On Tuesday, the Orlando Police Department said that the agency was notified by the sheriff’s office Friday about Shaouni being criminally charged. Shaouni is charged with resisting an officer, reckless driving and fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer. He turned himself in Friday to the Seminole County Jail and was released on $9,000 bond. Orlando police said Shaouni has been relieved of his duties pending the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office criminal investigation as well as Orlando police’s internal affairs investigation.

I remembered leaving my apartment to go to work one of them stood in the middle of road blocking Traffic just to wait for a resident who called 911 he did not move even though people are driving in and out gosh I hate those assholes . I was a security at Boeing now I am boeing not once I think about double cross them because I have been there and anyone who work for Boeing should knows boeing securities there are just like cops paper works are insane ..

One time I saw one just put his flashing light and his sirens behind a car on a red light I thought he was trying to get the driver to pull but turned out he just wanted the driver to move for him to pass the red light and then turn off his lights and everything after passing the red light van they do that ? As an ex security the patrol have the same law as them only have the lights on don’t mind speeds for emergency only other then that you have to follow them

Update: As of June 9, Orlando Officer Alexander Shaouni was relieved of duty and charged with reckless driving, fleeing and eluding, and resisting arrest with non-violently. Perhaps if he left sooner (like other citizens) he would not had been late to work.
