  1. IndyPride is one of the best commentators out there. I love his videos… that being said I’m tired of Warhammer. I cannot wait for the next historical title!… hopefully they do it justice but the predatory cash grab-shallow game nature of the title is concerning to say the least

  2. The Red Duke is a Blood Knight and a Grail Knight in lore right? Guess it makes sense he's a monster in a duel since he's been in the two professions best at it in his lifetimes

  3. Scimitar probably isn't the right word given that's a general term for a group of curved swords from the Middle East and North Africa. A sabre is probably a more accurate term when referring to European/Central Asian curved swords. As for the more leaf-shaped version, that's not really a real sword because that shape would be incredibly impractical on a sword of that size. You mostly see it on smaller blades like the Ancient Greek Xiphos, the iconic Ghurka Kukri or the Georgian Kinjal, which is a symbolic knife in the Russian military and is probably the inspiration for the in-game model.

  4. The weapon the Tzar Guard use is just a two-handed scimitar. Historically they're pretty rare, but Arnold used one in the Conan movie and since then they show up in all Eastern fantasy races.

  5. I’m pretty sure the tzar guard with great weapons use kriegmessrs, used around eastern and Central Europe in the high Middle Ages, so seems accurate to the theme Kislev follows

  7. With the recent news from andy hall during his interview that more CoC style dlc are being considered/in the works, hoping the 4 lords vampire dlc is coming. Or maybe a 4 lord empire dlc with red duke as flc.

  8. Kostalyn: I don't like you but I need your skill and in the end we both serve Kislev. Even if you Ice court witches do it wrong.
Ice witch: I will lend you my assistance for this battle but after I expect safe passage back to the Queen's territory.
    Kostalyn:(grunts) Consider it done witch

  9. Curved sabers were common in Russia, but I don’t think two-handed versions were ever popular. They were preferred for use on horseback, after all.

My guess is that the Tsar Guard’s swords are meant to combine the saber style with the look of a Bardiche, an actual Russian great weapon, being an axe with a curved blade. Many examples have a tapered tip for thrusting, a feature also seen on some scimitars.

  10. Yeah but the vampire clans have a grate weaknes towards winter and everything related to it. So its a verry unfair uneaven fight thats only in kislevs favor, they lost the battle to the vampire clan but kislev will most likley win that war overall.
