Hi Tim, my understanding of business in Thailand is a 49% holding for a non Thai national? Does this apply to your new venture?

Thailand not what it used to be, late 90s I was little more than a year overstay, totaled a rental car (had no license and the rental place just took a photocopie of ky passport which you could baerly make out) left the keys and steering wheel at the hotel reception, went to the airport paid to maximum 20K overstay fee and flew home.. all that said keep in mind I was just a young huligan and would not condone such behavior nowadays..

Keeping staff is one of the biggest challenges of the new hotel / suites. Staff quickly resign in Thailand for a small salary increase
Tim don’t call it a hotel as the hotel licence is expensive !!!
Maybe once the hotel is up and running we will start hearing "guest stories" a la Steve Rosse!
