In this video we open some packages sent in by viewers and friends of the channel. One package, from BBlod contains some speakers that we may use in the Anti Dog Bark Device.

HEY YOU ABOUT TO POST SOMETHING STUPID:
Yes, I know my hands are large/fat. It’s because of a heart condition I suffer from called Congestive Heart Failure. Here’s a link to some information about CHF: https://cle.clinic/2TdS2Ux
One of the symptoms is that it causes fluid retention, mostly in the hands, feet/ankles, and face..

But you drawer circuits..
Thanks for posting Paul. I'm in the process of building a Transistor Curve Tracer. More to come.
Time to get an ear check-up lol, first two speakers worked
Watching the LED sign reflect in the high freq speaker at the end was mesmerizing. I could hear the two small speakers at 5KHz. The LEDs on my mixer were reacting to the 10KHz. Maybe set up a VU meter so you can see it since neither of us can hear that high of a frequency.
BTW 5KHz did work on the middle
You know you getting big when you get fan mail!
Did you say „some sprecher“ (which would be the german translation of speaker: Lautsprecher) 😂
This is good stuff. The problem with testing speakers is having a reference microphone that will allow you to display what the speaker is outputting.
In the absence of, an expensive, reference microphone, there is a couple of thing you can do. Monitor the power into the speaker under test. Use one speaker as a microphone to test the others.
It is likely that all the speakers will show frequency resonance, so they will have frequencies at which they produce the greatest audio output.
I recently purchased a bat detector, that I can use to test other ultrasonic transducers, I had intended to build my own bat detector, but I ran into the same problem you are having, a lack of test gear to use as a reference.
The bat detector has already proved its value, test ultrasonic alarms.
I intend to use the purchased bat detector, to aid in the development of my own.
Didn't heard anything over 5khz. Age and working comms in the military. Life… 😁🇨🇦
I heard a high pitched sound when you coudlnt (at youre first attempt).
Oh I see only High frequencies gotcha now
on the larger speaker with the higher frequency yes I could hear it was high
yep youre hearin
I have a fair amount of Radio Shack projects in the 1980's
use a Commodore SID chip
Now……that’s a knife!
I bet you peel apples with a machete🙂
I have a new book to buy…
Hi Paul, I just had a quiet giggle to myself, why you may ask, I’ll tell you why, It was uncle Rob’s birthday, and you got all the presents, ha ha ha , love it, keep up the great work mate🤙🏼🇦🇺
Hi uncle Rob if you read this..
joe from Australia 🤙🏼🇦🇺
Looks like those 3 came out of headphones and should only be used for extremely near-field, aka on ear.
Uncle Rob sent you some really nice stuff. Almost makes me jelly. Almost. 😁
I heard signals from them. The mic, picks up the audio and lets us hear the audio. But the speakers all played the sound.
