Graeme, don't be ridiculous, mabye in the real world a clothespin would have the stench blocking effect though you are forgetting two crucial details.
First, you are not wearing any clothes over your nose so there is nothing to pin it too.
Second, you are two dimensional so Grammy is practically paper thin and paper clips work best on paper thin objects
