  1. The media don't hate UGA any more than any other teams. What they DO hate is what they think of as "boring" or "old man" football. They LOVE fast scoring, gimmicky, glamorous offenses and they only like defense if it scores a lot. Pick 6s are sexy. Running the ball for 5.5 yards is not exciting. This is why UT was thought to be about to steamroll UGA, even though Georgia was more of a passing team than UT. The explosiveness of a gimmicky, fast paced, short attention span offense is just bedazzling for the media and other casual fans. Those who understand the game seem to really place a lot of value on balance and hard hitting. They still LOVE UT and Oregon and hate UGA. I don't mind – another reason people hate us is because we're not their team and we win.

  2. Listen everybody in the media world except for the state of Georgia owes Kirby an apology not only for picking against them but going against what their eyes have showed them leading up until that point! One thing the media forgot to tell you after they had the rough games against Kent State and Missouri the very next week after Missouri was Vanderbilt and we crushed them 55 to 0! Then went down to Jacksonville and utterly demolished Florida! I'm really getting tired of the lack of respect that this team gets on a week to week basis if it was anybody other than the University of Georgia the media would be kissing their asses! Pardon my French! Go Dawgs! # G042N22! I want to make the national media eat crow again this year when Georgia hoists the national championship trophy again for the second time in as many years! That will be the biggest middle finger to the media and to college football for that matter! Kirby is just exercising some demons around here!
