This is footage of a walk of Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. Nestled on the east side of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, this town is a popular destination for visitors as many resorts and spas, golf courses, unique and upscale boutique shopping, restaurants, bars, and taverns, dining, and architecture as well as historic landmarks make time spent here worthwhile. Scottsdale has a certain aura compared to other areas of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area probably since there is much evidence of it’s long history and southwestern ambiance.
Old Town Scottsdale is comprised of eight districts including the Historic Old Town, Civic Center, Arts District, Waterfront, Brown and Stetson District, Entertainment District, Fashion Square, and 5th Avenue Shopping District. The Old Town Districts that were filmed on this walk include the Historic Old Town, Arts District, Civic Center, Waterfront path and bridge as well as streetside shops.
This video was captured just after noon on a 110 degree day in late July 2024. The Sonoran Desert is known for it’s blistering oven heat that can make the inhabitants a bit loco on the roadways!
