  10. I really hope Code Veronica X gets the next remake. Wouldn’t mind 0 getting one as well after that bc some annoying stuff about it but it’s a good game. A RE1 remake of a remake could be cool maybe too. Bc the first game remake is still there on modern platforms if you want. Lmao

  17. I'll never understand the hate for RE5. It's the game I played the most, and I've played all of them. Plus the Lost Nightmares dlc was amazing, and showed that you can still have horror in a co-op shooter.

  18. S tier: REmake 1 and 2, OG RE2
    REmake 1: took everything from the OG and improved on it. It has better graphics, added new/improved enemies (Lisa Trevor, crimson heads, and better bosses with such as the sharks and Neptune), and switched up the puzzles enough for old players to enjoy. It stuck with the survivor horror theme and was scarier than the OG. Basically, what all remakes should be like.
    REmake 2: improved things from the original to make it more of a modern-day game. Sure, it cut stuff and made things blander (especially the alligator "fight"), but the combat/controls were so much better. Definitely gorier. Great remake.
    OG RE2: took everything from RE1 and added on. Added to the lore and added new iconic new enemies/heroes. The "A" and "B" sides idea was amazing. I like how Mr. X was saved for the "B" side. Made it a better, more surprising second experience.

    A tier: OG RE1, RE3remake, RE4, and RE7
    OG RE1: Started it all, birthing the name "survivor horror". Sure, the graphics and stuff didn't age well, but it was good at the time and still has a charm to it. Voice acting brought even more enjoyment.
    RE3remake: Gets more crap than it should. Yes, it cut a lot of things from RE3, but I feel like it did a better job story wise. Hot take- They did a better job making Nemi scary.
    RE4: legendary game but didn't feel like a RE game. You could replace Leon with any other character, and it would have been the same. QTE got old.
    RE7: Took RE to first person mode and went back to horror over action. Mold enemies sucked, but besides that it was awesome.

    They skipped 0, but it was a mid-game. C or D tier. Swapping between characters got old quick and the bosses/enemies were kind of lame. They also left out Code Veronica. While it's not numbered, most RE fans consider it the true 3rd RE game in the series. RE3 was, like they said, basically a side game.
