  1. You guys are hilarious. There’s really no reason to feel this awkward around breastfeeding women. Honestly this is why it needs to be normalized. Makes me think it was the first time you’ve been around it. It’s just a way to feed babies. Do you know a breastfeeding mother nurses for around 1800 hundred hours the first year of their babies life? So it’s like a full time job for us. Believe it or not we can carry on a face to face conversation while breastfeeding and do other tasks…otherwise we’d literally get nothing done because it’s so all consuming. And yes it can hurt in the very beginning which sucks a lot and would be really annoying to have your partner gone gambling on digital golf while you were doing all that 😅 but after your supply is regulated and baby has figured out their latch, it shouldn’t hurt and honestly a lot of us feel nothing at all because it completely numbs the sensitivity of your nipples. If your partner becomes a breastfeeding mama you’ll be lucky because your child will have the best start in life and your partner with have a continuous stream of oxytocin from nursing to help during the postpartum transition. I think you’d be surprised to learn how many breastfeeding mothers are laughing to and enjoying your videos and podcasts during those 1800+ hours 😅
