  2. Question: WHAT does itr mean, if a Model Y cost, say, 57.000 Dollar? do you get NOTHING?
    Here in germany it goes in Numbers, from 4k to 3k, to 2k, depending, on how high the Price is (with a Cap at 80k).

  3. Quincy [Kwin-c] Wa is so small, have a good friend who lives there. Add one in Omak and you could drive from George [off of I-90] all the way to Osoyoos BC. And stop in Quincy if the George chargers are busy!

  4. Investing is an easy route to escape the chains ⛓️ of poverty as the economy is collapsing worldwide🌍. Leaving all family and friends behind just to grow your money through profitable investment is knowledge.

  5. Ahoi there, german here to clarify some translations on the sleeping driver thingy.
    The phrase used was "drogentypische Auffälligkeiten", your "drug typical abnormalities" is only a literal translation of that. The actual german expression is NOT any kind of legal term.
    It simply means the dude showed behaviour and/or symptoms that can be seen with people on drugs. It doesn't specify that he actually WAS on drugs. It's just the police assuming he may have been on something due to personal experience with other drivers.
    Also reportedly he wasn't touching the steering wheel at all, but it doesn't say if the weight was actually on the steeling wheel …. although if he really didn't touch it, that would of course have been the case and the officers just couldn't make the weight out when looking over.
    It also doesn't say that the driver was actually asleep, just that he had his eyes closed….apparently for the whole 15 minutes i guess? Again, doesn't explicitly say, but it's the only thing that makes sense in context.

    So the german sources don't say for sure, but they loosely suggest it was a conscious choice rather than a life saving situation.

    If i had to guess (and it's just a wild guess) I'd say the dude took something or was tired, then decided he'd still drive home nonetheless and just use the weight so he can rest his eyes, maybe get a few minutes of sleep, and just didn't notice the police because of it and didn't care about honking. Seems most plausible to me.

    Note: The speed was 110 km/h, so about 68 mph, which is rather slow for german autobahn but enough to just swim with the traffic on the right lane.

  6. A father & son YouTube channel! (There were hints.) Makes this channel even more special; it's always a ton of fun. Very best wishes to you both.
    PS. Bought a Henson shaver as xmas present for a friend because of your recommendation (also Sandy Munro's). However, I too have a beard, which I won't be shaving off. It'll be interesting for Jessie, tho.

  7. I've fallen asleep while driving in a Peugeot 505, doing about 30mph, while in flight school. Hit a parked 3T truck.
    Then again 1983 Peugeot 505s built in Australia don't come with "autopilot". Tesla wasn't even a company when the crash occured in '99.
    The aircraft I flew didn't have proper autopilot either.. just saying.

  8. Not much news on it, but China is having MANY big issues as a nation right now. They are not nearly as stable as they appear to be. Expect BIG changes with China. It's already happening and will continue to be more drastic changes in the near future.

  9. Get 10 or more points using criteria below to be called an SUV:
    3 points for having all wheel drive
    3 points for having hatch (not trunk)
    2 points for having an off-road traction mode
    1 point for ability to purchase with tow hitch
    1 point for every 10 mm of chassis ground clearance over 150mm
    1 point for every 1000 Liters of 2-passenger cargo capacity

    Tesla Model 3 LR-AWD gets 3 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 1.235 = 4.235 -> Sedan

    Tesla Model Y LR-AWD gets 3 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 2.2 + 2.158 = 13.358 -> SUV

    The criteria may require tweaking, but the concept can quickly and objectively be calculated using a spreadsheet of vehicles and their specs.

  10. Did you see the crashed Tesla in Cal?? The doctor and kids drove off the cliff on purpose AND SURVIVED, now has charges for attempted murder on his kids. MORAL OF THE STORY If you're going to try to kill yourself don't try it in a 5 star safety rated Tesla!! LOL!

  11. In my eyes, Hyundai/Kia is the only traditional car company that truly gets the importance of the transition to EVs. Not just the switch, but making the vehicle affordable. They also are making EVs that are making waves. Everyone seems to want to know more about them as they're announced. Even better, their EVs are actually cool. They actually live up to expectation (mostly) and are the biggest "threat" (lol) to Tesla (if there even is a threat to Tesla)

  12. It would have helped if Tesla stated during the 3 quarter Earnings Report guided that this year would be closer to 40% than 50% instead of stating that it would be slightly lower than 50%.

    It appears that Tesla, who is smarter, faster, and several steps ahead of the others, was caught by surprise by the end of the year shortfall. One would expect them to offer the full $7,500 incentive much earlier than the last two weeks of December where most people are busy (traveling, buying gifts, on vacation) for the holidays. In anticipation of the temporary drop in demand, they should have offered the full $7,500 incentive in October or the beginning of November for the Model Y, S, and X.

  13. I too work with my daughter and we have a small electric car conversion company which my wife is the owner of. My daughter was 5 years old when I converted my first car to electric I was very excited about it and thought this is the future. For many years this was just a hobby but the last 15 my second wife has made it a working business and has welcomed my daughter to participate. For many years my daughter has worked with me in the shop wiring batteries is one of her favorites, both my wife and I are getting older and we realize we have to turn the business over sooner or later and we're trying to make the transition but we're still all working together at the moment. We enjoy your show and appreciate your contribution prompting EVs .
