  1. Please no soundboard I love your on the spot improvisations. Not to mention I’ve never seen a podcast integrate a soundboard successfully, it’s usually just eye roll moments.

  2. Stalinist jarling here. You guys have always struck me more as Trotskyist so I was pleasantly surprised to hear the news. Anyway, what books by Stalin do you think each Madagascar character would like most? For example, I think Mort would rather enjoy Anarchism or Socialism (1906)

  3. In regards to the whole Right-Wing comedian debate I strongly recommend Stewart Lee's 'Snowflake' on BBC iPlayer. He's the only stand-up comedian I can stand because he actually displays a shred of integrity

  4. Beast, British comedy is absolutely not dead. The most obvious place to look is Taskmaster: absolutely hilarious every time and introduces you to loads of hilarious comedians, none of which buy into the Russel Brand/Ricky Gervais type "can't say anything these days" schtick. some personal favourites of mine that I've seen on the show are Greg Davies (the host), John Robins, Nish Kumar, Ed Gamble, James Acaster, Sara Pascoe, and Fern Brady.

  5. Manatees are relatives of Elephants and Aardvarks in the clade Afrotheria, Hippos and Whales/Dolphins are the closest living relatives of each other, and they are part of the same clade that includes Deer, Bovids, and Horses.
Seals, Sea Lions, Walrus like Jim said are closer to Dogs, even closer to Bears, and especially Red Pandas and Raccoons.

  6. The title “no surrender” eerily reminds me very much of my favorite song from indie rock band Imagining Dragons called Cutthroat. “Only one of us will make it out alive” transcends language barriers and kicks down new doors for musicians and ethnic groups from around the globe. I salute imagining dragons for their brave genre pushing music, and James’ dad. James from Jar Media Podcast has been missing for quite some time and it’s becoming increasingly concerning and I’m putting out a call to action from each and every jarling to make sure that James of the jar media podcast is safe and okay. Only James can save jar now…

  7. I think Jim's getting Would I Lie To You? and 8 Out of 10 Cats (along with its weirdly more popular Countdown spinoff) mixed up. David Mitchell was a panelist on the former, while the funny glasses man, Sean Lock, was a panelist on the latter. I completely agree that the quality of UK comedy was directly impacted by his tragic death, and perhaps he was the only thing holding back Jimmy Carr from his transformation from panel show host to the latest in a long line of woke-bashers. Weirdly enough, Jon Richardson, the other 8/10 Cats panelist, was recently photographed at the bloody pub with Keith Starmer and Angela Rayner – funny PM confirmed?

  8. Run. I'm the guy that made the crazy goblins cover, and i just wanted to say that I recently released an album. My band is called 'Hidel Eye' and the album is called 'Hide a Lie' so if any of the mighties who enjoyed the cover could consider checking the album out I would really appreciate it. To avoid this just being self-promotion I also wanted to pose a question to Jar. Do you think there's going to be a big resurgence of interest in live music in the nearest future? As AI gets better and better at replicating real music it might become impossible to differentiate new music by real artists from generated slop. Seeing an artist live might become the only way to authentically experience their music. What are your thought on this? berber.

  9. Release order, release order, release order, literally always play or watch in release order. I do not get this obsession with playing in chronological order. If they wanted you to know all the stuff that happend in RDR2 when you play RDR1 then they would have made it first. Just play in release order. Even if the story doesn't carry over or is not related, you'll see how gameplay evolved, how staples in the franchises come to be like the summons in FFIII for example appearing in other games etc…

  10. For years I've occasionally attempted to find the RUN you're both so obsessed with but can never find it, by looking up Run Bryce Dallas Howard GIF

I found it but without any sound of course. That's the best I'm getting.

  11. I have not used shampoo in my hair for over a year, I only condition now, can confirm my hair is far far better and less greasy, I think this probably only applies to curly hair though.

  12. Jim is getting confused and mixing 8 out of 10 Cats with Would I lie to you, Sean Lock was the comedian who passed away, and he was absolutely lovely 🙁 Comedy in the UK really did perish when he died.
