  1. if do warp first and then big turrets thenif needed shields it bit easier to deal with in some cases the order more set how stressful you need to deal with it. and should be keep high likely hood for rewards as well. as long you stay close enough range it possible to do warp then turrets directly.

  2. In the instance where you summoned the dreadnaught it was waaaaaay off elevation from the target. do these things have turrets on the ventral side? I've only seen a few up close so I can't say…. But it seemed like all heavy guns are up top. Might have to re-position the dreadnaught to get the guns in proper range. Would be great if they moved a little to get into position (or summoning it within radius of another capital ship automatically put it into an optimal position.)

  3. Krhaze i can confirm this as I do it all the time

Just destroy the engines and the huge guns on the along the TOP section of dreadnoughts spine from aft (rear) to bow (front) and they immediately surrender

  4. Faster way of doing this is to go to a space station in a neighbouring system , jump out get a restore point , then go to the pirate system , if it’s not the class you want , reload restore point , rinse and repeat!

  5. quickest way to make the dreadnaught surrender is to ignore the shields.. go for the warp drives first then followed by the anti-freighter cannons.. once you destroy those the dreadnaught will surrender..

  6. For me personally i've found some differences in my game. Warping out and back results in no pirate dreadnought after loading. Going to a space station to generate a save point also results in no pirate dreadnought after loading the save. I feel like the only tactic that works is to keep killing it, checking class and then reloading the auto save. Also when it disappears it seems to trigger a cooldown to completely screw you over. I spent probably half an hour just warping around after playing for a couple hours to spawn my 2nd pirate frigate. Sad

I really don't understand why they insist on making the freighter acquisition process effectively human torture.

  7. I just take down the shields and feul rods that pop out, and after last shield/feul rod engines as it tries to bug out, and by the time i take out the engines its already surrendered, no need to take out cannons
