ohhh Next Level and Savage dominated the charts, Next Level even won daesangs. The hate on O.O was because it was done poorly. SM (aespa's company) has been perfecting this sound for the last 20 years and it's only natural that they did it wonderfully. Other than O.O having bad mixing JYP tried to take credit on the sound SM has been long perfecting, by saying NMIXX is a new sound in kpop with the so called "mixx pop". When the most popular sound change song in kpop is Girls Generations I Got a Boy that was released in 2013. Which is an artist from SM, there are several other examples from H.O.T(a 2000s boy group), F(x), and NCT, which are all from SM Entertainment.

this is actually sm style all sm artists did this style of music years ago so yeah aespa did it first
for those who don't know, their group name is pronounced like 'Es-Pa'
they grow on u a lot! they did really well, i think the story line helped a lot too but they’re all so amazing

Next Level was a HUGE hit in SK when it came out, the dance and everything went viral too.. then Savage came after it and it did really well too but mainly cause it was riding the hype of Next Level still.. but now a year later Next Level is outcharting Savage in Korea

NMIXX is copying aespa and SM style of song with a lot beat changes. It all started with SNSD, aespa's senior in the same company with their song I Got a Boy. Next level is the daughter of that song. Now, a lot of agencies and music company do the same.

also, aesoa debuted first than Nmixx. JYP is trying hard with the different songs in one song.

Someone please tell him this kind of music originated from SM that SM has been pursuing for 20 years in K-pop. SM enterment managed by Aespa. JYP only followed suit at a later time. SM is famous for always experimenting with unique music. You can listen to music by Red Velet, EXO, SNSD, Fx, Shinee, Super Junio, NCT,… All under SM.

I think jyp took inspiration from SM to make genre mixing concept for nmixx
SM, its unique concepts, and talented artists. that's it.
Just want to tell you JYP copies SM. SM has been produced song that feel like there are 2 – 3 songs in one since like forever, NCT and aespa have most of title songs in this style. SM are well known for experimental music, they are the trendsetter. Not try to be bias, I really like experimental music but I can't digest O.O., it's not a smooth production if not say it is a mess. I was so really to fight you when you said "classic Nmixx's style".
About the snake thing, well their story's villain is Black mamba. Kwangya is SM's universe
If we're gonna compare nmixx and aespa let's try to get the fact that aespa started that concept first before nmixx even made their debut so it should be the other way around
