No Man's Sky Mass Effect Normandy Trailer

Everyone here at Hello Games is a huge sci-fi nerd. One of our absolute favorite series is the incredible Mass Effect games. To join in Mass Effect’s annual N7 celebrations, we are pleased to welcome the legendary SSV Normandy SR1 back into No Man’s Sky!

It was back in 2021 that the Normandy made its first appearance in one of the first expeditions we ever ran. The limited-time expedition starts today, runs for two weeks and culminates in players being able to claim the Normandy for their fleet.

In the intervening years since that event, we have welcomed a huge number of Travellers, not least a whole new cohort of Switch players and an increasingly large number of Chinese fans. Many of these new players have envied those who proudly displayed their Normandy in their frigate collection.

Mass Effect fans know that this legendary frigate only appears when it is most needed! Today, and for the next two weeks, as a love-letter from one science fiction game to another, we are giving everyone another chance to encounter the Normandy in an overhauled version of the original mission and add it to their collection.

Huge thanks to our friends at EA and BioWare for helping make this happen.

  1. I remember how awesome it was when the Normandy showed up at the end of the expedition. It's awesome that Hello games was able to work this. So many great memories over the six years I've played the game (since Next).

  2. This game would be perfect if it didn't have the ridiculous survival mechanics. I want to explore the galaxy, not constantly have to stop on random planets for fuel and supplies, where I may or not instantly die as soon as I step outside the ship, either by the weather or randomly attacked by sentinels because I plucked a flower!

  3. Hello games is one of the few companies nowadays that actually care about their mistakes and their customers. I hope they will get in the top 3 most-known companies in the future..they deserve it

  4. cool, but did you guys fix the console ports?
did you make the UI finally not clunky pain in the bum?
8 years and you still bumble around with basic flaws of the game. sony pulled cyberpunk from stores because it was unplayable but your headache inducing brain damage game is still fine and on sale for full price.

  5. Love the game guys. As somebody that unintentionally takes big breaks from games due to work and life, I always come back to NMS whenever there is an update, but, I often forget how to play it, and, all this new content, I have no idea how to begin to find it or play it? if you could make it more obvious in the games menus, that would be great. I would love to simply see a tab full of missions/content I'm yet to play, then I can just click it and away I go…instead of having to search online how to get things going, its not fun for me. Would love to see these changes, as I enjoy the game and would love to enjoy it even more 🙂

  6. Can we have the expedition again? I was on vacation when this expedition was online. I love Mass effect. Please, sean. I would offer money, but i don't have the feeling you like that stuff.

  7. Is this a returning expedition or completely new? How do I transfer the ship and other items from this to another save if I start playing this game for the first time with this expedition?
