  1. Sounds like a heating problem with the cpu. Pull the heat sink on the cpu and check the heat sink compound. Scrape it off and put some new Heat Sink Compound on it, reseat the cpu, and then reinstall the heat sink. Had a pc that would randomly crash for no apparent reason. I did the above operation, and it stopped the random crashes.
