  1. The best part is that they'll keep up with such big updates. They've called this one "Part 1" because more parts are coming and that's just stuff from their new game getting backwards compatible and added into No Mans Sky. They're geniuses in that regard, testing features from their upcoming game into an older game is the best way to test it out. For me those type of games benefit the most when it comes to environments, I recall I've modded the water in No Man's Sky years ago because it was kinda flat and this update took care of that, also of the sky, I love these. We need fishing now.

  2. No Man's Sky teaches a lesson a lot of people especially in business need to learn. You can screw up, ruin your reputation, destroy trust, nearly tank your entire company, but if you focus on what's important and put in the work, you can bounce back. If you know your audience and properly address them, you can bounce back, you can go further than you thought you could.

  3. No man's sky sucks until they add enemies for me to shoot that actually shoot back at me add outposts for me to loot I'm not playing this game exploring planets is extremely boring in this game there's nothing of interest I don't give a fuk about animals i only care about lore give me outposts give me enemies to shoot exploring a planet and looking at fauna and animal life is boring that is the farthest thing from fun to me I don't care about that stuff

  4. I bought this game when it came out, played for 10 hours and never touched it again. Decided to give it a go since the last update came out. Can’t stop playing it now. Put in 40 hours in the last 5 days

  5. Visually that looks insane compared to last time I played about a year ago, arguably even better than the environment we were promised pre release. Definitely going to have to replay it. And yeah, given the age and niche of the title, it's doing fine on Steam.

  6. I had reinstalled the game for this update a few days ago. I saw about the clouds etc… Starting from beginning again so I know there's going to be no issues with using an old save game file.

  8. 0:03 2077 had no redemption, original game is still a buggy FPS instead of quality RPG with non linear quests that they promised. DLC was nice, missions in DLC and first mission in original, in the meat factory show how originally game shouldve looked like.

  9. The balancing isn't crazy OP. Can you find a really nice ship early on in the game? Yes you can. Fixing it up to be able to fully use all its features however is another story! You need exotic materials to repair high tier equipment. For example: You might find and salvage an S-tier fighter ship early on. But upon entering it, you discover that only a few cargo spaces are intact, the rest need fixing to be usable. The wreck is less functional than your C-tier starter ship. In order to fix it, you may need something like Activated Indium which is something you're not gonna have access to until you upgrade your own fully working ship to be able to visit blue solar systems. But first you need Emeril which is found in green solar systems. To go there you will need Cadmium which is only in red solar systems. You need to visit the Anomaly to buy the upgrades to go to different color solar systems, but then you need Salvaged Data to unlock these blueprints. You need to go back to a planet surface to find the data modules. So it might be easier to just scrap and sell your fancy S-tier shipwreck and keep another one you find later when you're ready to fix it. The salvage money is certainly more important early game than any ship IMO. This applies to everything in No Man's Sky. Your gear defines what you can and cannot do. And you can only get gear if you explore. There's no getting around it unless you invite your friends and beg them to lend you some stuff for free.

  10. I have about 3000 hours in it since release! This update gave us a second boss monster in the brood mother in addition to the Sentinel Walker!
You can get encounters while pulsing around a system!
You can land of derelict freighters found with an Emergency Signal Scanner, which is a bit like a dungeon crawl! Random derelict freighters just have pods you can destroy for loon and get the attention of pirates!
